The EU-LAC ResInfra Plus initiative is designed to foster a sustainable partnership between the European Union (EU) and Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) countries in the field of Research Infrastructures. Building on the success of the previous EU-LAC ResInfra project, this initiative enhances collaboration through shared resources, comprehensive training programs, and strategic policy development, paving the way for a stronger, more integrated research community.
The EU-LAC ResInfra Plus project is scheduled to run for two years, from 2024 to 2026, offering a focused timeframe for impactful collaboration and development.
The EU-LAC ResInfra Plus project aims to:
- Develop a Comprehensive Map: Create an extensive map of research infrastructures available in the LAC region, providing unparalleled access and insights.
- Establish Collaboration Guidelines: Formulate guidelines for future collaborations and facilitate robust policy dialogue to streamline research efforts.
- Facilitate Training and Workshops: Organize transnational training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge exchange across borders.
- Create a Stakeholders’ Forum: Establish a dynamic forum for engaging a diverse array of actors including researchers, policymakers, and businesses, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
The EU-LAC ResInfra Plus project is designed to:
