These workshops, organized in close dates to the Senior Officials Meeting of October 30th, will comprise 120 participants from EU and CELAC, will focus on key identified areas for research infrastructures cooperation between the two regions.

On October 27th, the first workshop will take place addressing Health, followed by workshops on October 28th and 29th focused on Energy and Biodiversity and Climate Change, respectively. On November 3rd, the workshops series will continue with the topic of Food Security, while on November 4th the topic under discussion will be Emerging Technologies.

Joint research projects, transnational access, mobility programmes or access to data are some of the key issues to be discussed to foster further interaction and cooperation among European and Latin American research infrastructures.
